Yukon Chamber of Commerce members qualifying for Chamber Choice appreciate that there is no medical underwriting. Additionally, each group offers its employees a choice of PPO and HMO coverage.

How do I know if my company is eligible for the Chamber Choice plan?

  • Does your company have 2-50 employees?
  • Is your company headquartered in one of the following counties:
    • Oklahoma
    • Canadian
    • Cleveland
    • Logan
    • McClain
    • Pottawatomie
  • Are you a member of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and/or a participating chamber? Yukon Chamber of Commerce is a participating Chamber for Canadian County.

If you answered yes to all three questions, your company is eligible for Chamber Choice. Please note that eligibility is determined by your company's location, not where the owner and/or employee resides.

 

 

How do I become a member of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce?

How do I find out what chambers participate in Chamber Choice?

Chamber Choice is a program of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber for companies headquartered in Oklahoma, Canadian, Cleveland, Logan, McClain, or Pottawatomie County. The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber also has agreements with the chambers listed below, allowing companies interested in Chamber Choice to join a participating chamber in the county where the business is headquartered (not where the owner and/or employee resides):

 

 

Can you tell me why my company must be a Chamber member to be eligible for Chamber Choice?

Many small business owners find it challenging to find affordable health insurance for their employees. Responding to the needs of our members, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber began working with Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 2001 to offer a group health plan to our members. As a Chamber member, you are part of a larger group, allowing us to partner with Blue Cross and Blue Shield to offer you and your employees an affordable group health plan.

 

 

What if my company has two employees and only one needs health insurance?

To ensure that you get accurate information and understand your options, please visit with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (1-888-250-9020) or an approved Blue Cross and Blue Shield Chamber Choice agent.

 

 

Is Chamber Choice a qualified Insure Oklahoma/O-Epic health plan?

The Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC program provides a health coverage option to uninsured adults between 19-64 years of age whose household income is no more than 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL), who are not receiving Medicaid or Medicare.

Chamber Choice BlueOptions and HMO Value Option plans are Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC qualified health plans, so companies under these plans may qualify for health care premium assistance through Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC. Please check with your insurance agent to be certain that you have selected a Chamber plan that is Insure Oklahoma qualified.

To be eligible to participate in Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC, a company must:

  • Meet number of employees eligibility
  • Be located in Oklahoma
  • Offer an Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC qualified health plan, such as Chamber Choice
  • Complete an Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC application packet

Eligible employees must be Oklahoma residents and have a gross annual household income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Premium payments are divided as follows:

  • Employers contribute at least 25 percent of an employee's premium
  • Employees contribute no more than 15 percent of their family's premium
  • The remaining share is paid through state funds
